SOV Meaning | HelpDesk | OfficePoolStop.com

What is SoV?

SoV stands for 'Strength of Victory'.  Its also sometimes referred to as margin of victory. If a player picks a team that beats their opponent by 10 points, then their SoV increases by 10. If the picked team loses by 10, then 10 is subtracted from their SoV. Strength of Victory is used as one of the tie-breakers in our pickem, confidence, survivor, and play money pools. It is especially important in survivor pools that are not configured for last-man standing. See or Survivor Tie-Breakers article for more details.
